An oldie but a goodie, Ken Stone’s Cutting to the Beat with FCP tutorial will be a big help for those wanting to cut their DVJ loops in Final Cut. Even experienced FCP editors will benefit from Ken’s tips for using all of the timeline tools (the ripple edit, the roll, extend edit) to your advantage. If you don’t have a pre-made music track or you’re cutting something non-musical, e.g., the voice of our fearless leader, you can make yourself a click track in GarageBand or Audacity to sync to.
